Daniel Park,

Chief Executive Officer

Daniel, co-founder of Parkside Ventures and owner of Park Plaza and all affiliated companies in High Level. Daniel is responsible for bringing 9 businesses and job opportunities to the town of High Level, including: Esso, Starbucks, Dairy Queen, Denny's, Pharmasave, a Liquor Store, Fitness Centre, Arcade and a Construction Company. Daniel and his wife, Jane, have spent 10 years in High Level, 9 of which they built and operated an Esso Superstation, one of the largest gas stations in northern Alberta, which employs over 20 employees. Park Plaza construction began in 2020, where Daniel was joined by his son and daughter-in-law to begin this new venture. Once Park Plaza is complete, across all businesses, Daniel and Parkside Ventures will be responsible for bringing in over 150 positions in job opportunities. 

Daniel immigrated from South Korea in 1976 and graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Mathematics in 1984. Daniel has a broad area of experience and expertise. Daniel owned and operated restaurants, convenience stores and managed hotels. Daniel has been awarded 6 back to back years of top sales as a real estate agent in British Columbia and has been awarded 2 back to back years of top sales as a mortgage specialist before moving up to High Level to build High Level's first Esso Superstation.

Martin Park

Chief Operating Officer

Martin, co-founder of Parkside Ventures and shareholder of businesses within the PSV umbrella company. 

In 2008 Martin was offered a scholarship to play football at the University of British Columbia. Martin played football for a total of 11 years and served as the UBC football team's captain in the last 2 years at UBC. Martin graduated from UBC with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in education. Martin met his wife while attending UBC in his last year. Upon graduation, Martin worked as a kinesiologist for 3 years, working with clients needing active rehabilitation after a work place injury or motor vehicle collision. In 2017 Martin got accepted to begin training at depot to become an RCMP officer. Martin served the city of Coquitlam, BC as an RCMP officer for 3 years. In 2018 Martin got married to Esther and in 2020, Martin, Esther and their miniature husky, Mila, moved to High Level to begin the new Venture of Park Plaza with Martin's father, Daniel.

Esther Park

Chief Financial Officer

Esther, shareholder of businesses within the PSV umbrella company. 

In 2015 Esther graduated from UBC with a degree in Psychology. Upon graduating, Esther worked at Park & Associates Notaries Public as a Administrative Assistant where she was responsible of preparing financial statements, activity reports and processing invoices. In 2016 Esther was offered employment at her alma mater, UBC at the Office of the University Counsel where she worked as a Freedom of Information Assistant for 2 years. There she was responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Legal Counsel while handling various confidential records. In 2018 Esther began working at the RCMP where she served as a civilian member at the city of Maple Ridge. In 2018 Esther got married to Martin and in 2020, Esther was offered a job by Daniel in the new Park Plaza Venture. Esther and Martin are residing in High Level with their dog, Mila.
